Partneriaeth Llanbedr Partnership is a voluntary organisation set up by the Community Council, local businesses and local residents to work for the prosperity and improvement of the Llanbedr area. As a voluntary organisation we are able to apply for many of the grant funding opportunities which are not available to the Community Council.

The partnership was formed in February of this year and already has forty members. Anyone is welcome to join or help in anyway with our projects (Membership forms are available from the Wenallt Stores or see any of the committee members)

At present we have four clear objectives:

1. To apply for grants and funding to improve road and information signs for the village.

2. To further develop the website to promote Llanbedr as a tourist venue.
3. To continuue to produce a local brochure providing visitors with information about the area.
4. To open and run an independent tourist information centre promoting Llanbedr and the surrounding area. This will be situated in Maes Artro, and have applied for a grant in the hope of employing someone from the community to run the centre, however we will still need volunteers to help us make this successful.

These are early days for the partnership and we are keen to hear from anyone in the community, especially the young people, about any ideas they may have for improving the facilities, the environment, raising skill levels, or generally improving the prosperity of the area.

Please feel free to contact any of the officers, as listed above, or committee members with your ideas.
